Message-ID: Date: 23 Apr 91 21:58:15 GMT Sender: news@unlinfo.unl.edu Organization: University of Nebraska - Lincoln Lines: 26 Nntp-Posting-Host: helios.unl.edu I am trying to set up the communication between a Sun 3 and a Sparc 2 through CSLIP, and both machines are running SunOS 4.1.1. I reconfigure the kernal and run the slattach on both machine without problem (I think). Since I need a dialing program, I compile tip which comes with SLIP-4.0 and find the tip doesn't working. The following messages are what I get when I run tip: /dev/ttya file does not exsit all ports busy or sometime, they are: lock file ... all ports busy. Can anyone give me any suggestion?
