Outline fonts take a non-zero amount of time to render. Yeah, it took a lot of time to get out (still taking, but looks like it will make it out on May 13th still.) They added file server capabilities, outline fonts, interapplication communications and other neat stuff. 7.0 is a HUGE amount of code to debug.
