  Earlier I suggested that people only have to turn down the contrast to get
flicker to disappear. Then I hooked my Amiga up to my roomate's 1084, and 
now know that it flickers like hell! I have a Magnovox, and when I turn down
the contrast the flicker is not even noticable.
