Message-ID: <1991Apr19.161446.5312@engin.umich.edu> Date: 19 Apr 91 16:14:46 GMT Sender: news@engin.umich.edu (CAEN Netnews) Organization: Cognitive Science Machine Intelligence Laboratory, U of M. Lines: 21 Several months into this project, and still no sucess. But the end may be near. Now, the board sends signals through the ports, (as varified by the radio shack RS232 signal checker, and some of the info gets through, BUT some gets scrambled. When I plug into a modem, and send the attention code, instaead of getting OK and a line return, I get a wierd graphics character, a K, a carrage return, a couple of spaces, and another graphics character. It looks something like: at #k # where the # is a filled in block. Of course this does not occur when I use the built-in serial port. What could cause this?? Help, please. Thanks, Charles Hymes
