Lines: 24 I am posting this query from a friend who does not have access to the network. I will forward any replies or followups: Steve Hill. ----- Does anyone know of package - PD or commercial - that is capable of making an animation from a series of IFF files? What I am looking for is a program that will create the animation and allow it to be played without having to use the original package. I think that DPaint III allows you to animate, but does not produce a stand-alone output (?) - thus you need DP III to get anywhere. The famous juggler demo is a good example of what I am looking for, because the animation is run by calling a utility (movie I think) that will play the stored scenes. I have got an idea of how these are made - storing the first image and then the differences between one image and the next or by compressing the images, and decompressing them at play back time, - but no idea of how to do it. It would be great if a program for doing this was on a Fish disk, but if not, then having to buy it would not be the end of the world. Thanks.
