Message-ID: <10795@hub.ucsb.edu> Date: 23 Apr 91 23:24:11 GMT Sender: news@hub.ucsb.edu Distribution: comp.sys.amiga.hardware Lines: 18 I'm planning on buying an Amiga 2000 this summer. I'll probably put the system together one piece at a time, and I'd appreciate any input I could get on monitors... I'll be using the computer for games, and later after I get an accelerator, for ray tracing and animation. I also sense a Video Toaster in my future... With this in mind, what kind of monitor should I get? Can I use a generic IBM PC SVGA monitor with an Amiga? Do I really need to spend the extra money to get a multiscan? And finally, what kind of video outputs does the a2000 have? Thanx in advance! Please email responses if you can, although I'm such a NetJunkie I'll probably see it here too...
