Prices new were $360 for the drive, $309 for the controller, but that's my problem, isn't it? Equivalent new hardware today would be something like $250 for the drive, plus $225 for a controller, or about $475 total. They have been used quite reliably for a few years on my A2000, first as the only hard disk, then as a secondary hard drive system for storing images and animations. Now I have no need for them, and would like to help someone else move up from a floppy-only A2000 system. This controller does not autoboot (you still have to boot from a floppy disk), but I'll ship it ready to plug-n-play, with a boot floppy which immediately transfers control over to the hard disk (no big deal, I know, but it is if you have to do it yourself for the first time).
