So I have 1.3 kickstart, but >no new workbench disks. I guess I'll buy it, if it's any good. So. This made people even more confused.(I assume this from the amount of E-mail concerning it I've received) Therefore, I'll elaborate: I put the RAMexpansion in correct, but the cable from the internal diskette station had to be removed from its connector, and I didn't press it hard enough back in place. I put the Amiga back up and was in heaven for almost two hours, when the damned cable decided to jump off the connector, leaving my Amiga DEAD. I don't know tech stuff, but I know that the repair man said I needed a new kickstart ROM, because it was dead. But, that leaves the possibility, that I stabbed the poor chip with my screwdriver, while I had her(Amiga) open. :-) -- From the notorious Jakob Gaardsted, Computer Science Department Bed og arbejd !
