If you set SERF_7WIRE bit in SER_IOflags, and provided you have the correct wires connected, will the serial port automatically do the handshaking on a CMD_READ. The reason I am asking, is the only reference I have seen to CLS and RTS lines are in the CMD_STATUS command in the ROM Kernal Manual.
