The callback ScanToReturn goes into the weeds. 2. My XFCN returns a Handle. In processing that Handle, HCGS forgot its user ID in some fashion. I quickly ran out of allocable memory, since nothing was being returned. 3. To debug 2, I turned on Scrambler just before I called my XFCN. During the load of my XFCN, Scrambler kicked in and Hypercard went south. Apparently, Hypercard doesn't lock its handles correctly.
