According to the Apple 3.5 Owner's Guide, I can do this directly to the Smartport if the serial number is less than 433754. The serial number on my Duodisk is 42xxxx (of course). I remember reading in an A2Central that a resistor must be cut on the analog board to make the Duodisk work on the IIGS' Smartport. Well, I checked all the Tech notes I have, and all the A2Centrals I have, and I couldn't find anything more specific. Can someone please help out and tell me which resistor(s) have to go, or where exactly I can go to get this information. Thanks, in advance... +---------------------------------------------------------+ | Stephen Brown Toronto, Canada | | Internet: sb@pnet91.cts.com UUCP: utzoo!pnet91!sb | +---------------------------------------------------------+ | Apple II Forever !!! | +---------------------------------------------------------+ | Like my new .signature. ?
