With those eight slots and EPROM pseudo-compatible sockets they make great controllers. I've used them in the past as embedded controllers for many different projects. All without a disk drive. Of course, if you don't have a disk drive, your Apple II is old enough, *and* you do have a portable cassette player... :-) *** RAndy Hyde
