Message-ID: <9104240339.AA01130@carroll1.cc.edu> Date: 24 Apr 91 03:39:20 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Lines: 14 I hear rumblings about the RAMFast SCSI card being DMA compatable. This is nice, but my //e is "zipped" up to 8 MHz and I know that DMA is not functional because of the Zip Chip. So, my question is: Would I be able to use a RAMFast SCSI card and an 8 MHz Zip Chip in my enhanced //e? (i.e., can DMA be turned off, and what kind of performance loss would there be?)
