I've come across a DEC DF2234 (aka Scholar modem, NOT a scholar plus). 
Unfortuneatly this modem does not speak the hayes command set and I
don't have a manual.  Can anyone out
there reading comp.sys.dec tell me what command I need to type to get
it's attention and
dial out?  If anyone does have a manual could they send me the DEC part
number for it so I
can look into getting a replacement.

I know the modem should be junked but it's not my decision to make...
