Somewhat off the subject but - I have great luck with Trimarchi drives. This drive was a notable exception to the rule. About a year ago I tried hooking the Laserase up to a PDP-11. I gave up on the drive when RSTS Backup (VMS style backup) got verification errors when doing a backup/verify from another SCSI disk. I would strongly suggest you try writing something and verifing when you get your other problems solved. It was about one error in every 50MB.
