We have heard that "Task Broker" support for the 700s (and the 800s??) will be available later in 91, ie not in 8.0x. Can anyone confirm this. we are considering an informal cluster (ie not necessarily pure disc/discless arrangements) involving some of our large 800s(3x855, 1x870) and a set of several 750s. The role of the 750s would be as computational engines for the multiaccess 800s. On a related matter, can anyone comment on the future of FDDI in the 800 world? We gather than a board for the 700s is not too far away. Yrs, Rob Thirlby
