HP has both Ethernet and Token Ring connections available. The cards support connections to either a Novell or 3Com file server. In the Novell case, the card has Novell protocols, SPX/IPX, and application protocols for communicating with the file server. At this time, HP does not support TCP/IP on the cards. Our experience so far has been that customers are very please with the network connections. They allow sharing of the printers, complete flexibility of location, and vastly improved data rates to the printer.
