My AT already has an MFM hard drive/floppy controller. I use it to control my ST-251-1 hard disk, so I can't just pull this board out and replace it with the new floppy controller. But if I try to insert the new floppy controller into the AT, I can't even boot up. I assume that the old MFM/floppy controller is conflicting with the new floppy controller. I would like to disable the floppy controller portion of the MFM/floppy controller, but I don't know how to do this. I don't have a manual for it. The card is an NCL controller, model no. NDC5425 02AA. If someone has the manual for this card, would you please tell me the jumper settings I have to configure in order to disable JUST the floppy but NOT the hard disk controller? Thank you, Daniel dwu@halibut.nosc.mil
