Below is a 14" monitor from Acer American Corporation that I found very appealing: Spec follows: 14" 0.26mm dot pitch, nonglare, sillica coated screen. Trinitron CRT (patterned by Sony) Horizontal Sync range: 30 Khz to 55 Khz (note this is far better than the SONY 1304 HG original) Vertical Sync range: 45Hz to 90 Hz Compatible with VGA, SVGA, Mac II, 8514A and XGA standards Weight 28.7 lb Physical dimensions 13.4"(h) x 14" (w) x 16.1" (d) Regulatory approvals: FCC-B, UL, CSA, DHHS. I have no affliation with Acer whatsoever, I post this purely for info. Yes, I have tested it. And it's fine with me. The only drawback is that the case construction is not as sturdy as the original (SONY) but picture quality-wise, it's even better then the already good thing. An welcomed addition to desktop monitors perhapes. From what I know, the street price should be around $510 or so.
