Summary: what is the ps/2 mouse pinout? Keywords: ps/2 mouse pinout Message-ID: Date: 20 Apr 91 09:44:49 GMT Sender: news@nntp-server.caltech.edu Organization: California Institute of Technology, Pasadena Lines: 11 Could someone tell me the ps/2 mouse pinout, especially if it is a 9 pin D connector? I was looking at a trackball that claims to be for PS/2. It has about a foot long cord, ending in a DB9. I want to connect one to a non-PS/2 as a serial mouse. One book I saw sounds like the keyboard and mouse have the same, 4 pin connector. This trackball definitely has a 9 pin connector. Thanks for any help on this. -- glen
