(was Loop non-int) Message-ID: Date: 21 Apr 91 08:54:38 GMT Sender: root@agate.berkeley.edu (Charlie Root) Organization: ucb Lines: 11 Personally I've never seen a color monitor that I'd want to sit down in front of all day and edit text in front of. The Sun monochrome monitors are near-perfect to me: sharp, big screen, high resolution, flicker free. Unfortunately the only comparable screens I've seen for PC's cost a fortune. Any idea why this is? Any recommendations? I'd like to get a 1280x1024 mono display system with 16" or 17" monitor and suitable high refresh rate (flicker bothers me) but all the ones I know of are >$2k, which seems absurd (given that a Sparcstation SLC equipped with such a monitor is about $3k discounted).
