Message-ID: <1991Apr19.143707.86591@vaxc.cc.monash.edu.au> Date: 19 Apr 91 04:37:07 GMT Organization: Computer Centre, Monash University, Australia Lines: 19 I tried to e-mail this but the message bounced. In item 6347 Tony Wesley asked about the dip switch settings of a Mitsubishi MR 535 RLL/MFM drive. SW1 - This is the termination switch, if ALL are set ON the drive IS TERMINATED conversely if ALL are OFF the drive is NOT TERMINATED SW2 - The first four switches determine the drive number (drive 1, drive2, drive 3, drive 4). ALL these should be OFF EXCEPT for the required corresponding drive number switch. Switch 5 if ON is "Daisy-chain" if OFF irs "Radial" (whatever that means). Switches 6, 7 and 8 in the Tech. info. are set to OFF. I hope this helps. Tony Stott, Department of Microbiology, Monash University, Clayton, 3168 Australia. mic119y@vaxc.cc.monash.edu.au
