Message-ID: <1991Apr21.220059.1147@marlin.jcu.edu.au> Date: 21 Apr 91 22:00:59 GMT Organization: James Cook University Lines: 17 I know everyone is sick of these, but not as much as me ! The symptoms are:- On a cold start I get a Sad Mac complete with hardware failure tune, with the codes 0000000F 00000003 (I forget how many Zero's exactly, all but the last line). Now when I switch off at the wall and startup again (I guess slightly warm) everything is fine. It is becoming regular (and monotonous). I had a similar problem with a Rodime in an SE30, but it never recovered. This is a Quantum in a IIci, System 6.0.5, with 3Com EtherNet Card and lots of junk. Any sugestions (besides junking it :-( Michael -- _______________________________________________________________________________ \ Michael Antolovich in sunny North Queensland (where it's bloody hot!) / \ chma@marlin.jcu.edu.au / \_________________________________________________________________________/
