I think it would be very handy when interfacing stacks using the full Mac character set (including foreign text) to the 7-bit world of network mailers. In its simplest form it would just encode (or decode) the text of a field. It should not be very difficult to do the 3 to 4 byte encoding/decoding, but has some kind soul done this already? -Nikos Troullinos nicktrou@cat.syr.edu
