Message-ID: <1991Apr22.164228.4220@xn.ll.mit.edu> Date: 22 Apr 91 16:42:28 GMT Sender: usenet@xn.ll.mit.edu Organization: MIT Lincoln Laboratory Lines: 25 The Hypercard 2.0 Developer package includes (courtesy of Susan A. Tenney of Dartmouth, 18/3/91, comp.sys.mac.hypercard): Paperback manuals: _HyperCard_Getting_Started_ (189 pages) Beginner's tutorial through authoring level. _HyperTalk_Beginner's_Guide_to_Scripting_ (169 p.) _HyperCard_Reference_ (419 p.) Reference through authoring level _HyperCard_Script_Language_Guide_ (583 p.) Scripting reference, includes a section on XCMD interface _HyperCard_Quick_Reference_Guide_ (14 p.) Keyboard shortcuts, system messages, HyperTalk keywords and commands The Hypercard 2.0 Upgrade package includes the above Script Language Guide and a booklet summarizes in major differences between Hypercard 1.x and 2.0. I think I would like to get a copy of the new Hypercard Reference manual; the upgrade kit booklet is too brief where some new features are concerned (e.g., report layouts) and I like hardcopy documentation (making me a living fossil, eh?). Does anyone out there know if that manual is available unbundled and, if so, from what source at what price? Thanks in advance, John
