Is there a similar way to re-enable the mouse/cursor when it freezes up? Sometimes the cursor just stops moving. Usually I can close up my current application with command keys, but I can't get to any other applications under Multifinder to close them before rebooting. I don't recall whether the "sm 0 a9f4" magic word (can anyone explain what that really means?) unfreezes the cursor or not, but in either case my other open Multifinder applications are screwed up. sb -- ==== Scott Barvian ============ Department of Electrical/Computer Eng. === ==== barvian@ece.cmu.edu ====== Carnegie Mellon Univ., Pittsburgh, PA ===
