Message-ID: <1944@limbo.Intuitive.Com> Date: 23 Apr 91 01:28:18 GMT Reply-To: taylor@limbo.Intuitive.Com (Dave Taylor) Followup-To: comp.sys.mac.apps Organization: Intuitive Systems, Mountain View, CA: +1 (415) 966-1151 Lines: 19 I have about a 350 page manuscript that has extensive single and double quoting, all in "ASCII" format (e.g. as you see here). I would like to be able to change them to matching typographic quotes (e.g. `` and '') but *really don't want to do it by hand* [the very idea fills me with great horror, frankly!] Is there some way to accomplish this? I've looked through the documentation I have with Microsoft Word (4.0b) and it talks extensively about how nice smart quotes are, but doesn't make reference to how to *do* it. Please respond via email. Thanks! -- Dave Taylor Intuitive Systems Mountain View, California taylor@limbo.intuitive.com or {uunet!}{decwrl, apple}!limbo!taylor
