Can anyone tell me why I might have lost all the icons SL>on my Word files. They show up as generic documents, and won't open SL>Word when double-clicked. They open fine from within word. Possibly SL>related: the opening "Welcome to word" box has lost most of what was in SL>it...all that's left is my name. Thanks for any advice... Sounds like the BUNDLE BIT got reset somehow. Get a copy of BUNDAID to reset these OR DRAG delete the DESKTOP file (it's hidden so you'll need something like DISK TOOLS II). Sometimes the WDEF virus does this. B-T-W, even if you have a virus "watcher" WDEF sometimes sneaks through. Leo Bores -- Uucp: ...{gatech,ames,rutgers}!ncar!asuvax!stjhmc!15.25!Leo.Bores Internet: Leo.Bores@p25.f15.n114.z1.fidonet.org
