We got this as a bug report for TouchType, too :-)

For the record, *never* is a little strong.  It will become the key window
if you select the text in the Size field in the Font Panel, and then Return
works as advertised.  There are advantages to keeping the Font Panel from
becoming the key window; it's a tossup.
