I would like to implement a menu interface where if the user selects an
item with a sub-menu, WITHOUT pulling right to get the sub-menu, then 
the default (first sub-menu item) is executed.

This type of interface is used with the Showcase product.

Question:  Is there a way to do this with the GL menu routines (defpup,
addtopup, etc.)?

Question 2:  If Showcase uses its own menu routines, can its routines
be modified to run as pop-up menus instead of drop-downs?
