Software (along the lines of telnet or ftp) for same. that runs on a Sun (VME-based) e.g. Sun 4-260. The actual protocol at the Sun end of the connector can be asynchronous or synchronous, but synchronous communications at 56 kbaud must occur in the moddle of the "pipe", and the software must be able to support this. There are some specs for what ultimately lies at the other end of the pipe, but assume for now it's another Sun or UNIX box. All replies gratefully received.
