I was trying to use gdb from within gnu emacs. gdb could not run my program becuase it complained that it could not execute /bin/sh I think the original permisions where rwxr----t ??? I changed them to 4777. Any way gdb seemed to work, but eventual my system froze and I was unable to boot it.
