I think that after having w4w with its powerful macro language we can write better translators (both directions). I started to do some simple things in the direction Latex -> w4w (like {\it , {\tt {\bf , {\cal , X_i X^i , and \section \subsection etc). I think it shouldn't be too hard to extened it to a powerful translator. We can do it a ``common net effort'' and then contribute to cica.
