I have re-installed it, and it still does this. Even weirder, I HAD it working, it's not a hardware problem (I think!). Here is my CONFIG.SYS ------------------------------------- files = 30 buffers = 30 device=C:\windows\ega.sys device=C:\himem.sys device=C:\WINDOWS\smartdrv.sys 2048 512 ------------------------------------------- I added the ega.sys myself, because I have a VGA and thought it was necessary. With or without it, it still doesn't come up in 386 mode. My system.ini is perfectly normal, as done by setup, except I added the EMMEXCLUDE= .... (whatever I was supposed to exclude. Can anyone help????? Why doesn't it boot in 3867 mode.
