I am having a devil of a time getting multiple screens to work within one process. Here's my configuration: Sun4 running 4.0.3 OpenWindows 2.0/XView 2.0 X11R4 server distributed by Teksource supposedly optimized for multiple graphics screens (8 plane) When I open both screens from within the same client process, then map a trivial window into each screen (say a window with a hello-world button) the first button activate callback works fine (either screen) but then any press on the other screen results in an X Protocol error. The error is Major Code 55 Bad Match I don't know the patch level of the server; does anyone know if XView 2.0 runs poorly beneath a given R4 patch level? Please reply to me; I will summarize any response and post to the net. Thanks for any help !!! ------------ Jeff Birnbaum JMB and Assoc. jmb@btr.com
