I also have attended functions there and have had problems with the accessibility, although I didn't have to go in a seperate entrance. I could manage the steps up to the front door but had extreme difficulty doing so in wet weather because of the composition of sidewalk material, slick as all get out! The hotel was built in recent years when accessibility is a big issue and is owned by a major chain, one would think that OMNI International would have a little concern. It is not surprising tho in Norfolk, I doubt there are half dozen fully accessible office buildings in the entire downtown area!
