Just as patients have rights, they also have responsibilities. We have the responsibility to become inforned about our disability and the dangers. Being well informed prevents poor treatment. It is all well and good to trust your doctor after you determine that he knows what he's talking about. Many of us check out a lawyer or car mechanic better that we check out our doctor.
