I would like to know if there is anyone on this echo who has a hidden
disability and would like to exchange views/experiences.  I have a hidden
disability (broken neck) which causes me to have to use a foot brace.
Have other balance problems, also, that are not readily visible.  Have a
wheel chair permit.  However, the possession of the permit does not stop
people from questioning propriety of me using handicapped parking.
Hidden disability causes other problems at work, especially concerning
failure of employer to reasonably accommodate.
  We had a hidden disability association here in Ottawa, Canada, but the
founder died and it petered out.  Would love to hear from others with
hidden disabilities.  Thanks.
