Videophiles nowadays are buying "letterbox" versions of LaserDiscs to get the full wide-screen image on their TV sets, but with black bands above and below (in other words, sacrificing vertical height to get the full horizontal picture). HDTV with 16:9 aspect ratio would solve that problem. Charlie
