I know that, originally, women weren't educated in universities. Then they couldn't get degrees. They were not welcome in various fields. More recently, they supposedly went to college primarily to get married. However, I don't really know the history of all this; exactly when, how, and what. Can anyone either give a somewhat-brief summary or suggest a good book detailing the history of (college) education of women? Muffy
