Hi All,

This is a Request For Discussion concerning splitting the group
comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d into several different discussion groups.  The
group currently carries discussions of posted binaries, posting of
archive information, and requests for reposts or mailing.

  The proposed groups:
    comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d              # discussion of postings
    comp.binaries.ibm.pc.archives       # info on archive sites
    comp.binaries.ibm.pc.wanted         # requests for reposts

This proposal has been informally discussed in the group and elsewhere
and has received some support.  The split was originally proposed by the
moderator of comp.binaries.ibm.pc.  The purpose of the split is to
better organize the material that is posted to the groups to make it
easier for people to find what they are looking for.
