Get an ethernet board for your PC. We use the Western Digital WD8003E, mainly because they cost less than 3COM, and seem to work fine. About $140 last time we bought one. Get NCSA Telnet from zaphod.ncsa.uiuc.edu. It is public domain telnet/ftp/lpr/lpq, source included. If you want to do anonymous ftp, you will have to get your IP address into a nameserver, beause many FTP sites do reverse lookup on all incoming anonymous requests. -- glen
