        First try converting the g3 file to portable bit map format using 
        the program 'g3topbm'.  Then you can one of the following routes:

        1)  pbmtorast   --    pbm to Sun rasterfile.
        2)  pbmtoxbm    --    pbm to X11 bitmap format.

	All these executables are found under /usr/bin/X11 in our machine.
