I purchased a batch of cards marked "WD8000SL ASSY 61-600026" at the top, the boards are only about 2/3 the height and half the length of a full-size IBM PC interface board, and almost the whole board was soldered using surface-mount devices. Jumper block W2 has 8 pins, W4 has 8 pins, W1 has 16 pins, W3 has 12 pins, W5 has 2 pins, and W6 has 2 pins. A Western Digital person I spoke with a while back said he couldn't find any documents for this specific board. I would like to find out what jumper settings set I/O port numbers, interrupt requests, and shared RAM addresses for this board. Western Digital's StarTest program works with the boards, but I haven't been able to determine much from it other than the jumper settings for various interrupt requests. Any help will be gratefully received. -- Guy Helmer, Dakota State University Computing Services helmer@sdnet.bitnet, dsuvax!ghelmer@wunoc.wustl.edu, wupost!dsuvax!ghelmer "I'm a cowboy, on a keyboard I ride..." -- with apologies to Bon Jovi
