We are leaning towards the Trailblazer T2500, but are unsure of it's performance in the field (mostly because of bad review in Dec 11th/90 edition of PC-Mag). So far, we've looked at the Telebit T1600, Hayes, and JDC, all which support V.32, V.42, & V.42 bis. We haven't been very happy with the JDC, but are quite pleased with the T1600 and the Hayes. The only drawback with the T1600 and the Hayes is that they don't PEP. This is sort of a requirement since our news feed gets to us via a Telebit T1000. Our applications for these modems would be news, e-mail, and regular dial ups for login sessions the majority of the time (2400bps 90% of the time). My question to the net is, what are the best modems around for the buck? Are we leaning in the right direction if we go with the T2500? PS: We are planning to purchase 20 modems for our Kanata and Montreal plants. ~~~~~~~~~ Please e-mail your comments. If enough responses, I will post a summary.
