On pg.46 they list a 2400 bd external, MNP5, v.42bis modem for: $139. Yes, $139. The same modem specs can be had in an internal PC flavor for $115. Two yr. warranty on both. It is an Etronics, which is their in-house brand. However, if you examine the Etronics modems carefully, you will notice that they look a *lot* like the Practical Peripherals on the previous page. In fact, I think they are the same modems with a different nameplate. I have an Etronics modem and the manual lists PP's phone number for technical support. ;-) Oh, the PP 2400 MNP5 v.42bis is $199. They have the PP PM9600SA for $459. Elek-Tek's sales number is (800) 395-1000, in Illinois (708) 677-7660. Tech support is (708) 677-7660. No I don't work for Etronics, but I have bought some things from them and I have been satisfied with their service. -John
