COM-AND's performance significantly improved with proper application, but did not challenge the highest scores. As of Saturday April 27, PC Magazine has not provided any information in response to my April 13 (repeated April 15) request for information on their test procedures. PC Mag has not responded to the issues raised in my posting of April 22, which was also posted on their own Compuserve forum. In my estimation, it will be far more difficult for PC Magazine to acknowledge their error(s) with Professional-YAM. Correcting their flawed test of COM-AND does not require a major rewrite of the spread as a whole. Assuming their testing of Professional-YAM was equally flawed, admitting to and correcting their mistake will require a number of pages to present corrected graphics and to revise evaluations made on the basis of the flawed 115kbps tests.
