How  to  create  new  fonts.


Can  anybody  help  me  with the info  on  above?

The  idea is  to  create  a  new  set  of  fonts that  can  be
loaded  on  to  windows  for  text processing and also be
printed  out  using  laser/dot mat.

I  am  using  SUNVIEW.  There  is  editor  to  create  new  fonts
<fontedit>. Here  I`m  stuck.  As the  created  fonts  though  they
appear  on  the  Sunview  Window  they  are transparent  to  the
laserprinter. I know  I'm  very  ignorant  of  all  th  other
hazards  involved in  embarking  on  a  such venture.

would  somebody  educate  me  with  the  naunces  of  sculpting
an  enitrely  new  fontstyle.
