Summary: any experience? Message-ID: <1991Apr28.203152.9083@ccu.umanitoba.ca> Date: 28 Apr 91 20:31:52 GMT Sender: news@ccu.umanitoba.ca Organization: Dept. ECE, U of Manitoba Lines: 19 I *just* got a copy of the TechnoJock Toolkit via ftp, and it looks good enough that I'm considering keeping it and registering as an owner (i.e., paying for it). However, it's of no use to me if I can't load it into super VGA (800X600X256) mode, and I don't want to buy it and then find out I can't use it. No flames, please - I intend to follow their instructions on registration, and I'm not looking to steal their product. The manual is silent on the subject, and the code that loads in the BGI driver doesn't seem to accomodate user-installed drivers. My query is "has anyone successfully done this?", and if so would they be willing to share any advice? I plan on phoning TechnoJock this week, but I thought I'd look for user's comments as well. thanks, Kerry -- Kerry Yackoboski The Scanning Tunneling Microscopy Laboratory, ECE Dept., U of Manitoba Mysterious Moon Man of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada
