I would like to know of practical experience with PP r4 in 

  a) using the MPW interface on MACs to call fortran and c functions/programs.

  b) interfacing to digital sensing and control devices via control board in
the MAC.

  both of these things are being done in my lab now from a MAC running PROCYON
LISP. my lab is thinking of changing over to ST for a number of reasons, but i
need to pin down whether or not anyone has successfully used ST (PP r4) in
these two ways.
